Seamlessly enough, once you set up the scripts for handling each battle. In any case, that would allow integration with the existing map system. Maybe Scene_Battle as well, I haven't looked into it at any great length. You could very easily hook it into the existing battle method and take the troop number as the argument. I doubt it would be that difficult, all you would have to do is make the battle maps and re-write the handling of random encounters to execute a method with a number as an argument that will then run a case statement for the result of that number to transfer the player to the new map, start the battle and anything else you need to do like storing the pre-battle position to move the player back upon the battle's end.
